Downs syndrome will certainly be on the list of conditions qualifying for a permanent disability certificate– said Deputy Minister of Family and Social Policy Paweł Wdówik, who is the government plenipotentiary for people with disabilities.

Earlier on Sunday, Deputy Minister Wdówik posted an entry in which – he stated – as he declared at the SEJM commission, „the plenipotentiary’s office has started working on a list of rare conditions, with a homogeneous and permanent course, with no prospect of improvement, which will be the basis for issuing permanent rulings.” „The work is still ongoing and no list has been published yet,” he said in the post.
