Three migrants have been found dead on the border between Belarus and Poland over the weekend.
During recent weeks, Belarus has been accused of waging a hybrid war against Poland by pushing hundreds of illegal migrants over the border in an attempt to destabilise the EU and in retaliation for sanctions placed against it by the EU in response to its human rights violations. On Sunday Polish authorities also rescued a number of migrants who had got into difficulty in a swampy area near a local river. Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki wrote on his Facebook account that Poland would look into „the possible link between these dramatic events and the provocative actions taking place on our eastern border.”
