18 Polish citizens evacuated from war-torn Gaza have landed on the Okęcie airport in Warsaw aboard two military planes, officials have said. The evacuees arrived in Warsaw just before 3 p.m. yesterday.
The 18 evacuees have been provided with medical care and psychological support, including a paediatrician for children, a spokesman for the Polish Army said. He added that the army was ready to carry out further evacuations, depending on decisions made by the foreign ministry and President Andrzej Duda’s National Security Bureau.

Poland’s President addressed the first session of the country’s new parliament yesterday, which also featured the resignation of the current prime minister, in line with the constitution. Duda said he was „ready to cooperate with the new parliament,” inviting „everyone to join a broad coalition for Poland.”
Duda said „it was a good eight years” of family-friendly policies, hefty child benefits and the lowering of the retirement age, among other policies. He stated that such policies „must remain” under the new government. Polish lawmakers also elected a new house Speaker from with the bloc of pro-EU opposition parties which secured a majority in the country’s new parliament during its first key vote.

A Polish space tech company based in the southern city of Gliwice, has launched a satellite into orbit on board a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket, it has been announced. On the same flight was a second satellite, created by a second company based in the southwestern Polish city of Wrocław.
The SpaceX Falcon 9 took off from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California in the United States. One of the satellites carries optical instruments used to observe the Earth, while the second is equipped with several dozen specialised solar cells that the aim of the mission is to examine how the cells function in space to „find out whether they are as effective an energy transmitter as on Earth.”

Family and friends of a missing 23-year-old man from Gdańsk have appealed for help in finding him. On 5th November, Jakub Krut left the well-known „Elektryków” club in the city. He left without taking his phone, wallet and jacket and has not been seen or heard from since. His family is desperate and is asking for help to find him. His sister Karolina Bartosz assures that her brother has never disappeared for such a long time before.
Jakub is 180 cm tall, with long, curly, dark blond hair reaching to his shoulders. He has a moustache, beard, nose ring, tattoos on his hand, and scars on his hands.
