From tomorrow, citizens of the selected countries will be able to enter the EU for tourism, business, or other reasons without having to quarantine on arrival.
Poland is set for a second round of elections after no single candidate garnered over 50 percent of the votes in yesterday’s presidential election. Interest in the election was at a record high, with broadcaster TVP Info reporting over 62% turnout across Poland.
Polish citizens across the country and around the world will be voting in person or by mail today for a slate of 11 candidates for the Polish presidency.
Poles will head to the ballot box to vote in the presidential election on Sunday with eleven contenders in the race. If none of the candidates wins more than 50 percent the vote, under Polish election rules, a second round will be held two weeks later, on July 12th.
One person has died and around 20 were injured after a city bus crashed through a barrier and fell off an overpass in Warsaw yesterday. Six people were taken to hospitals with serious injuries, two of the injured are children.
