Poland will extend the interval between the first and second doses of COVID-19 vaccines, an official said on Thursday as the country seeks to speed up inoculations amid an accelerating epidemic. Unemployment in Poland was a modest 3.1 percent in January, the lowest rate in the 27-nation European Union, the bloc’s statistics agency reported on Thursday.
Amid the coronavirus pandemic, the Czech Republic had the second-lowest unemployment in the European Union in January, at 3.2 percent, while the Netherlands came in third, with 3.6 percent, according to the Eurostat agency. Meanwhile, Greece had the highest seasonally-adjusted jobless rate in the EU, at 16.2 percent while Spanish unemployment was the second-highest at 16 percent.

A car that has been abandoned on the beach at Gdynia at Gdynia Orłowo is proving hard to shift. According to a report in the Trójmiasto.pl website, the car on the beach about a week ago and despite complaints to the authorities, has still not been moved, causing an obstruction and eyesore at the popular beauty spot.
A spokesman for the city guard stated that according to traffic regulations, cars cannot be moved unless they constitute a traffic hazard. He added that the owner of the vehicle has been found and if he does not move the vehicle soon is likely to be fined and the vehicle will eventually be towed away.
