The United States has announced a new USD 275 million arms package for Ukraine’s defence against Russia. According to a statement by White House a national security spokesman, the package will provide Kyiv with „new capabilities to boost its air defenses and counter the threats that Ukraine is facing”.

The German and Polish governments have reached an agreement on a deployment of the German Patriot air defense system in Poland according to a German government spokesman. The statement came after Warsaw initially suggested sending the Patriot systems to Ukraine.
