Polish president Andrzej Duda has said that the only way to defeat Russia in Ukraine is through the use of brute force and arms. Speaking in an interview with Wall Street Journal, Duda said that the West should keep supplying weapons to Ukraine and not be put off by threats from Russia.
Poland has provided Ukraine with more than 200 tanks, 100 infantry fighting vehicles and 100,000 rifles, alongside drones, self-propelled howitzers and other armoured vehicles needed to wage the war with Russia which has entered its 10th week.

The European Parliament held a debate on Poland’s Constitution Day to discuss Poland’s alleged breaches of so called „Rule of Law” provisions, stating that Poland owes EUR 160 million.
Last year, the EU fined Poland EUR 1 million a day to prevent „serious and irreparable harm” to the bloc’s legal order and values, officials said at the time. The EU imposed the fine until Warsaw changes its rules for disciplining judges, which according to Brussels undermine judicial independence. A resolution on the „rule of law” provisions in Hungary in Poland will be put to a vote by European lawmakers on Thursday.
