Russia has criticized an announcement by the US President Joe Biden that America will send long range rocket systems to Ukraine in a bid to bolster the country’s combat ability as Russia continues to pound the south of the country and make territorial gains.

Writing in the New York Times, Biden stated that he had decided „to provide the Ukrainians with more advanced rocket systems and munitions that will enable them to more precisely strike key targets on the battlefield in Ukraine”. Moscow has accused America of “pouring fuel on the fire” with the pledge to supply weapons that have the capability to strike into Russian territory.

And finally, a dog belonging to a woman who fainted after calling for an ambulance showed tremendous, but misplaced loyalty to his owner when he refused to let first responders attend to the woman after she called them.

The drama unfolded in Nowy Port in Gdańsk after the 23 year old felt ill and called for an ambulance. She then fainted and her dog stood guard over here. When paramedics arrived the dog would not let them get near to her. The paramedics were forced to call for police backup who managed to usher the dog into another room in the woman’s apartment. The woman has made a full recovery.
